11/12/2023 0 Comments Metal alchemist tattoo hand palmI dont get the stereotype of having tattoos and peircings as a badass personality. I m not from some super development country like USA lol. Or maybe it is common in the US and other countries, and I'm just out of touch. But you will be banned from visiting certain establishments and might be asked to hide it in many public places. Probably not since you are not Japanese, so even if you come to Japan, they won't arrest you and try to extract a confession for something you didn't do. I have piercings, hair dye and gonna get a tattoo this year (probablya demon slayer tattoo with a katana).Ĭonsidering ur logic i would get arrested for just walking down a street and staring at some cute kid.Īnd no i still wouldnt hide, if i went through pain to get a tattoo i m definitely gonna show off. The problem is that having a tattoo screams "guilty" of whatever crime they accuse you of, and no one would stand up for you since no one wants to be associated with gang members and gang violence. Yeah, I mentioned it in my post, but decided to delete it a few minutes later. Though Im not sure if they hold weaker or more critical standards of people of non Japanese ethnic backgrounds. On a job or school is only potential issue outside assumptions some people may mmake if my analyses makes sense. Japanese police always assume guilty anyway trying to get a confessiom don't they? Yet even known guilty murderers can get away scott free so I don't see how a tattoo would make it worse especially if it's not in a traditional Japanese motif. I recall one doc showed an older man take off concealer and show his tats to the camera crew and he had a tattoo of Piccolo's face on palm of his hand (which is a really odd spot since these spots on palm og hands and sole of feet shed fast so they get messed up easier in time) There is a relativly underground tattoo industry and culture and it's not just traditional Japanese hand poked tattoos but stuff with electric tattoo guns and diferent art styles. Supposedly views on tattoos are slowly changing in Japan. Some stuff totally makes tattoos invisble and you wont notice they are wearing any even if in a visible spot. You think they make you look super "badass" and whatnot but all they basically do is tell the authorities that they got the right person. I don't know why any Japanese person would ever do that, to be honest. It probably works, but it still seems like a dangerous and rather pointless liability to me. Some people in Japan just wear concealer to cover their tattoos in some situations I've seen from various tattoo documentaries. Getting a tattoo would get me kicked out of the gym, and I'll have to wear long sleeves during the summer, so that's definitely a no-no.
